Official Google Blogspot App - no idea if it is any good yet but have downloaded it and will give it a whirl.

EDIT - Forget that - just read the reviews and it is not well rated, excessive data use and generally rubbish seems to be the main issues.

For those with rooted Android phones you can remove all adds from browser and (most) apps.

If you've an Android device and a Canon DSLR you can use your phone to control your camera (likely useful when doing studio shots and such like).

Don't pay to ring 0800 numbers.

Also one for 0845 numbers. It's 99p.

I haven't tried it yet but it gets lots of 5/5 reviews.

:2thumbsup: Good find, cheers, be interested to know if the 0845 one works.

The 0800 one works a treat.  :great:

EDIT - On the strength of the reviews I bought the 0845 one and it also seems to work perfectly.

Nice one simes!

I started using the Read It Later Firefox plugin to bookmark and organise things I don't have time to read and was hoping there would be a way of syncing with my phone as its often travelling where I want something to read.

There is now just such an app :2thumbsup:

Anyone with an HTC Sensation who wants to change the firmware can do so via here (as HTC originally locked the bootloader).

Rooted my phone just for this - thanks for the heads up :)

Does it work though?

Not rooted phone as due for a new one in a month or so so can't be bothered spending the time on it.

It certainly works on a couple of games I've installed that were previously showing ads.

I'm not so sure about web-ads - what's a site that's infested with ads from major ad providers?

I've found that this is better than Handcent (which is still a good app) for SMS:

Been using that for a while and it is a good app which I thought I had recommended it but maybe not. I find it is best if you run it in "Normal Mode" as it doesn't load up a billion different emoticons that you will never use and just seems less cluttered that way. Also got some nice features where you can set up individual settings so you can have a different Notifications (alert\LED Colour etc) for different contacts.

Overall I have been pretty impressed with what the Go developers have been doing and all of their apps are worth a look IMO - their Go Contacts app is a bloody good replacement for the standard dialler - check it out.
