Glad you enjoyed it.

While we're on a Robert Wyatt tip we shouldn't forget that the song he is best known for is, of course, a cover (well he didn't write it anyway)

I like this too ...

Can you cover yourself? Video helps the narrative quite well I think.

Mike Harding has just played June Tabor and The Oysterband singing Love Will Tear Us Apart.

It's what iPlayer/Listen again was invented for!

Does this belong here or in the non-covers?

(And you know what I said about "Lick the Tins"? It applies to this as well.)

if you close your eyes and listen to the voice, four and a half minutes later I bet you've got a smile on your face.  :)

Reminds me of when I was 9 and a teacher played this in class ( not this version) and asked who wanted to be tramp... I was the only one who put my hand up. A defining moment of my life. Ta.

Probably the best double cover single ever. Sonic Youth do Mudhoney and visa-versa.

The song "Can't Help Falling in Love" featured in the Irish film The Snapper. A Steven Hague remixed version of the single was also featured in the John Hughes film Some Kind of Wonderful.

I've been meaning to put this in here for ages. The extraordinary Elizabeth Fraser does something amazing with Chic's 'At Last I Am Free".

and lets not forget the pretty lights version (does it still count as a cover if you re a dj?)

also this
of the original buffalo song
