does anyone know if there are any rules for feet on said problem, when manteling the break i put my left toe in what may or may not be a chip that looks very old well used :S getting close to doing this prob so don't want to cheat or owt...

That foothold is as old as the problem. There are no rules on the prob, except for staying off the right arete obviously.

thanks for clarification, when done it will be the first of a new grade so i thought i'd check
