L'etranger Track
October 20, 2010, 02:38:49 pm
Does anyone know what the track is in L'etranger when Keith does Partage then goes on to try Gormandoise? I know the track-list is on the end of the film but this track doesn't appear to be listed/is incorrectly listed/is a version I can't find. Any help?

It sounds very much like the Caribou track, Sundialling.

It's still not quite it though.

It's kind of like an electronic instrumental version of that. There is a Caribou track (a different one the name of which I can't recall right now) in the credits which doesn't seem to correspond to anything so it being a misreferenced Caribou track would make sense.
Cheers for your efforts, can anyone get any closer?

I've no idea, but why not mail Keith and ask (email address should work a@b.com)? :please:

If I had enough posts to wad you I would, been wondering what that track was for ages (but was too lazy to actually get off my arse and check)

I hassled uncle to send me the whole set a while ago, it could pop up as a torrent I guess?

Why not get Keith a whole load of spam by posting his email address up on a popular forum? ;)

* I've edited it out.

Apologies, I grabbed it from his site where its prominently linked on the front page if people (or SPAM bots) wish to contact him so figured it wouldn't be an issue (I find gmail to be pretty good at filtering out spam, the only exception being that it is at times overzealous and bins some friends work emails 'cause of the dumb disclaimers they carry).

What's the track that accompanies the Mandarin section? I kow it's called Don't Stop Believing but who recorded this version? Shazam can't identify it.

Cheers for the offer Paul however I've got the track now and (perhaps more importantly) I don't understand torrents so would entirely fail to get it even if it was torrenting or seeding or whatever it is torrents do...

I hope you understand by the nature of this forum (and the rules) nobody is offering to torrent it. I just thought it might pop up somewhere... :shrug: everything seems to be on public trackers these days
