Just had a couple of weeks off after a disastorous font trip, had my first session down the wall and literally was climbing about six grades weaker! I never normally have more than 3 days off so this was a bit of a shock. On the other hand my mate who also had a break was stronger than before.  This lead me to the obvious conclusion that whereas he is naturally strong i am naturally as strong as watered- down piss. It also
 took me about four years of climbing before i did e3/4.
