How do you change karma?

Hi, I may have overlooked something completely obvious but I can't work out how to give people +/- karma points??
Any help appreciated...

I think you need 50 posts before you can smite/wad

When you do earn it, it looks like this

[wad] [punter]

and is under people's karma score
