OK, where is the emoticon for exaggerated death throws? Or did you just teach me a lesson and I lost a kneecap.

Throws or throes?

Assuming you actually want an answer I'd say it would fall into the "Looks pretty (very?) eliminate and almost certainly been done before but nobody has claimed it so what the fuck if the guy wants his name in the next definitive Burbage guidebook probably due out in at least 10 years time let him have his fame and glory shazam" category.

I haven't done it so can't comment on the grade.

I meant throes but the error is not without its humour and Sloper taught me to spell.

I already know it "Looks pretty (very?) eliminate and almost certainly been done before but nobody has claimed it so what the fuck if the guy wants his name in the next definitive Burbage guidebook probably due out in at least 10 years time let him have his fame and glory shazam"

Sorting out claims after the event can take time better spent on other things so having been an editor myself its cleaner for the next editor if someone is known to have done it. I faced name changes on lines established for two guidebooks.

Maybe you need to speak to that beastofwhatsit bloke who's retroclaiming a harder, even more eliminate version..... To be fair, he's said he never bothered claiming it as it's so eliminate and it would appear that he's right.

I reckon "the wall to the right has been climbed at E3 6a to E5 6b depending on which holds you use but is really too eliminate to bother with" would be the correct way of dealing with it in the guide. Not everything has to have a name and a claim attached to it.

Thanks. The suggested solution is one we used in similar circumstances. My reasons for posting were to put the request in a place where he is more likely to get a direct answer and to potentially save the future editor some effort, both as an exemplar and in case it resurfaces during production of the next version.

There'll be six stunning independant lines up that wall by the time the next guide is out

I know exactly what that looks like as I've down climbed from where he is 1000 times. I'm not sure who's worse; the original claimant or the subsequent retro claimer? Retro claimer who didn't claim it

If only you'd had the insight to start at the bottom rather than from the top of the Remergence problems.  I guess it just needs a visionary to notice these 3 star classic that the rest of us walk past.

I linked the photo, not because I assumed you didn't know what it looked like, but because of its National importance and to highlight it for the next Climb cover.  I must apologise if you felt that I was berating you, it was never my intention   :kiss1:

It's on UKB already, and those intolerant, cliquey, unfriendly ignorami have managed a thread about it without calling anyone a c*nt. Ironic that you get on your high horse and pretend that UKC is superior!!

Cunts

And a couple of posts up they're calling each other cunts! The fact that someone posts that about UKB on a thread so full of petty sniping, nonsense and name calling is pure Cocktalk gold.  ;D

Just realised that the next BB post that put it into context has been deleted, hence why it is now open to wrong interpretation.
