I'm sorry but you can't make a load of replies to a topic, letting others answer you and then expect us to go back and remove your posts once you don't like the topic any more. This makes a mess of the topic renders other replies nonsensical.

No its because you made a stupid post, nothing more, nothing less.  People "jumped" on it because you failed to see the inappropriateness of what you posted.  What you drive has nothing to do with it (at least for me, I can't speak for anyone else).
