I see the Forestry Commision is looking for firms to tender for the cafe and bike shop in the new visitor centre at Glentress:

So where does that leave Tracey and Emma?  The Hub has been there from the start and the girls have been crucial to the development of Glentress.  I'm guessing that one of the big firms, Alpine Bikes, Edinburgh Bike unco-operative or Evans, will pull out all the stops to win the tender and Glentress will go down the same road as Coed Y Brenin, just a soulless visitor centre with zerop atmosphere

yeah, that's the new visitor centre Chris, ie, the usual soulless corporate bullshit that organisations like the FC simply can't resist.  Empire building basically and it reputedly cost £7m - how many trails would that build!?.  Not that they haven't got form.  At Coed y Brenin, they pushed out the existing independent shop when they upgraded the places.  It fuckin' stinks....

I think the fact is that Glentress is a mountain biking centre in a forest, and the sexual preferences of the people who run it or frequent it is irrelevant and of no interest to anyone (other than perhaps yourself).
