FS: Sigma 50-150mm f2.8, Canon fit
August 14, 2010, 01:00:12 pm
Also going on ebay at some point as I've just bought a replacement, Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 APO EX DC telephoto zoom lens. 50-150 is roughly equivalent to 80-240mm in 35mm/full frame/old money, but it's designed specifically for crop format cameras and it's more compact/lighter than it's 70-200mm f2.8 cousins.

Good condition: very minor dust in the elements, no scratches on the glass, no fungus inside, minor scuffs on the body and lens hood.

Comes boxed with lens hood, well-padded carry case and strap, manuals etc. Original Sigma lens cap on front, Tokina on back (can't find a Sigma one).

Looking for £280. PM if interested or if any questions.

There are actually a couple of tiny scratches on the front element I noticed last night. They won't affect image quality but I will take offers.

Couple of quick questions, which I'm sure Google could answer, but that involves open yet more tabs on an already overloaded browser.

~ Non-rotating front element?
~ Fixed length lens?

Non rotating front element.

It's a 50-150mm zoom.

Ah yes, sorry it's obviously a zoom, but is it an internal zoom? i.e. the actual lens doesn't change length?

Canon 70-200 f/4 by the looks of things. Shame the IS version is nearly twice the price.
