Roadie Glasses
July 13, 2010, 12:50:34 pm
Having had a fly hit my eyeball last night as I was hurtling down to hathersage I think its time I got some glasses.
I'm talking clear lens, for eye protection but not the ones I used to wear at school!

I fancied some Rudy project's but when I saw the 100 quid price tag I nearly barfed up a lung.
There are some Madison ones on tinternet, but are they any good (i,e do they look cool)

Any recommendation for reasonably priced, non-misty, cool, clear roadie glasses would be appreciated.

I find that they all mist up.  If you can see, you're not workin' hard enough.  Word.

I just use these.

I look well cool in them.

Thanks for the advice. I actually got some with 2 lens for 7.99 in decathlon last night. Bargain!

Maybe a bit late but can thoroughly recommend Endura Angel's.  Photochromic lenses mean you don't have to faff around changing lenses and I haven't noticed a delay in them changing from dark to light.  Lenses are a bit soft and scratch easy though.

Afraid I'm definitely too late but hopefully will help someone. You can get a *free* pair from wiggle (same pair as Lund linked) by being referred by a friend if you've not used them before and you spend over £50 (the person that refers you gets a voucher iirc)

^note that's not referal spam crap, you need to get someone who uses wiggle to fill stuff in properly
