Sync Music on a LAN?

Sorry for the techno-dweeb question, but we're havin a bit of a do at the house next week and I was lookin for something where we could synchronise music over the LAN. So that all the puters would be playin the same shit.

Does anyone know of any software or anythink that would do tha business?

You want something like that, but can't recommend anything myself as I've never done this.

I've done this - all you need is Windows Media Encoder, set that running on the source PC and then connect Media player to the encoder on all the others - PM me if you need any more info....

Its actually only about 6a. Not that hard  :wink:

Good point, I had overlooked that you were gonna use a playlist. I've always run the decks into my soundcard in one room, ran windows media encoder from there and then streamed it downstairs to another computer.

I reckon you'll be able to do it somehow - I'll have a look!
