Firefox keeps crashing when I try and view the anyone seen any good films lately, as far as I can tell it's only doing it on that page, anyone else having the same problems?

Which version are you running? The latest version is 3.6.6 and there has been a new version of Flash (and something else which is probably important) released in the last few days.

The latest one, it did say flash was out of date or java, but it was after updating that it started playing up. I'm giving chrome a go now as it seems a lot of people are having problems with FF these days.

FF ok with that topic here. It may be an extension you're using?

May be worth doing a virus scan whilst you're at it.

I've not installed any new extensions for a long time, in fact I'd say I'm running less on this installation, I might try disabling them if I get bored of chrome.

If you're being told under FF that Flash and/or Java are out of date its perhaps worth updating them.  ;)

I only just found this thread, but experienced exactly the same problem. Firefox would just freeze on certain websites.

I downloaded google chrome, uninstalled firefox and then reinstalled it (i couldn't use chrome to access the uni-computers remotely). Now firefox works absolutely fine

Good idea. I quite like "Internet Explorer" by "Microsoft". Never had any problems with that

Nice one Fiend. I hadn't heard of that but it turns out that even the government use it so it must be good:

Not sure about "IE8" though. I think I'll play it safe and go for version 6.

You kids are so behind the times, Netscape Communicator 4.5 is where it's at - you can synchronise bookmarks and everything... word

Average home users don't use underground software like Internet Explorer, there's like no software support or nothin'. You wanna get a browser by one of these bigger companies like Apricot...

Why is this turning into a battle of the Browser Spammers?

It'd be good if there was a way of making Bill Gates pay UKB £1,000,000 every time someone spams the forum on his behalf.
