Leeds hip hop heads word up - Holla is on Saturday night at The Loft.

I went to this last month and can highly recommend. All the classics getting played back to back, dancefloor ram up by 10pm, real mix of people in attendance and no attitude I could discern from anyone.

Will be going myself so if anyone else is thinking about it hit me with a PM.

Cheers all for the HHK comments - was a brilliant night even if the performance itself flew by in the blink of an eye.

Think we covered this on twitter over t'weekend but it's on every Thursday downstaiors at The Social, Little Portland Street from 6.30pm onwards...it is always ram up in there nowadays so getting in early is essential, especially if you want to perform...apparently all 30 or so slots were taken by 19:58 the other night.

I'm down in London with work on 22nd Sept so will be heading down there, any UKBers who want to join more than welcome!

Now, just need to decide what to perform...Hot In Herre? Miss Jackson? Big Poppa?

As it goes I've settled on doing "Ain't No Fun" by Snoop...should be a good one, assuming I can keep a straight face while I do it.

As for Holla, it's on Saturday. When I'm at my Dad's 60th Birhtday bash unfortunately. Grab the mix / flyer from Best Vintage in town if you can, it's a really good one this month!

Got into work this morning wondering how the Ghostface gig went last night and feeling a bit gutted I didn't make the effort to go and bumped in Cappadonna and friend outside the Hope Street hotel! Psyched
