The Addidas heel must be bad then because the original Dragon heels are useless .
I can't speak personally about the Adidas Dragons, but a friend who loved the Five Ten version (owned numerous pairs) got a pair and disliked the heel to the point of reselling them second hand and getting an Unparalleled alternative. This could be a personal preference issue but I do see a lot of love for the Unparalleled offerings. Really need to try some on myself but I think my closest option is Outside in Hathersage? For me the Peak is a ~2hr trip so time there is always prioritised for actual climbing and not shoe shopping.
So are the adidas dragons any good? they seem to be going cheap. I really wish I'd bought some old ones before they discontinued. Unparallell are the next choice obv.Just wondered if anyone had tried them?

I had ten thousand pairs of old dragons in which i was a size 8. I sent the new ones back for a size 9 and they are still very tight. Currently wearing round the house a bit to decide. Overall the fit feels similar, including the heel though they do seem a bit stiffer at the front, perhaps because of the rubber on the top of the foot. (I have not climbed in them yet). Will report back.
Any info on sizing for unparallel? is it the same as ye old five ten?
