They also have the organic simple pads at £155. Which is as cheap as I’ve seen them anywhere in ages...

I'm assuming they are pukka, not a cheaper version made for Go?

Tiso's have lots of Scarpa's on sale,  mainly smaller sizes plus the 5.10 Quantum lace in most sizes. Many approaching half price.

As good a place as any to ask, what is the longevity of the Velcro closure on Solutions like? I tried a pair on and it felt a bit flimsy, so looking for reports of issues.

I've never worn them but they're the only climbing shoes that I've picked up bits of from the base of crags when litterpicking.

Not very long in my experience of owning just one pair. Wrapping a short piece of climbing tape lengthways around the section of lace that goes through the eyelet has sorted them out though.

If I get another pair I'll do this straight out of the box to avoid the inevitable wear before it happens.

it's thick polyurethane paint used for canyoning wetsuits (thats why i own it ) also very good for protecting any textile from abrasion.
