Yes it's me, pictures are scans of prints that a friend took.

It was indeed NNFN, absolutely killed, and I didn't go to the hospital until we returned to the UK three days later (and then had a bath and missed minor injuries as they closed at 20:00 so I had to go the following day).  Fortunately they're old pics from about eight or nine years ago.

Haven't let my brother live it down yet though, especially as he can't argue with the photographic evidence

It got chipped a few years back. Its still popular but totally ruined in my opinion. I think they actually chipped over existing smears so its not as if you can even avoid them for a vaguely authentic experience from what I remember of it.

What a shame, I did that New Years Day 2003 or 2004, was a lovely prob.
Still can't understand if a smear gets chipped how it goes up in grade though

I think chipped/broken stuff in font tends to get graded funnily, plus the fact that although graded 5+ initially it could well have actually been 6b, then drop to 6a or whatever upon chipping.
