April fools day...
April 01, 2010, 08:05:29 am
Well bleary eyed I thought the Grauniad was being serious for about a min... until I saw the other pictures

"The Brown team has been buoyed by focus group results suggesting that an outbreak of physical fighting during the campaign, preferably involving bloodshed and broken limbs, could re-engage an electorate increasingly apathetic about politics. They also hope they can exploit the so-called "Putin effect", and are said to be exploring opportunities for Brown to be photographed killing a wild animal, though advisers have recommended that weather, and other considerations, mean Brown should not remove his shirt."

Any other good ones out there?

If only Sony's announcement that their removing the "OtherOS" feature in from the PS3 in their firmware upgrade that their releasing today were an April Fools, unfortunately it doesn't appear to be.

Sucks big time.  PS3 is the first console I bought and the main reasons it won over the other options was precisely this functionality.  Its likely down to the guy who claims to have "hacked" it, but it really doesn't make sense.  Its akin to Apple finding out that someone has worked out how to exploit Safari and rather than fixing it they decide to remove it from all iPhones.  There's also the fact that one of the reasons the ability to install another OS meant that the PS3 could be sold in Europe and avoid paying a tax levied against consoles

A dismal, predictable and blatantly obvious from even reading the headline one on the other channel.

Fixed that typo. The UKC ones are always inane.

They printed the Buckfast one in the paper today.

I wish they'd had the Balls to put the deficit one in...
