Privacy issues

Following an interesting thread on another uk forum, where people were expressing concern regarding privacy and the forum showing their online status, I'd just like to point out a couple of things:

[*]Your IP is only ever visible to the admin(s)
[*]In your profile, you can select "hide my online status" - the forum will recognise you are there, but won't say who you are

I'm quite paranoid about my privacy on forums (fora?) these days, so I hope that will put your mind at rest if you have concerns over work, etc watching you.
