:agree:

I started off watching the programme feeling very cynical thinking that there must have been some trick to it. I hadn't paid much attention to the run when it started or was actually happening, but watching the programme I couldn't help being amazingly impressed with it all. A truly amazing achievement and a great and rare example of someone using their fame for something positive.

Absofuckinglutely. I cannot begin to imagine how hard that must have been. Even for a proper athlete it would be difficult. Let's face it Eddie Izzard likes his pies - I doff my cap to the man.

Far more impressive than the joke John O'groat's to Land's End ride. I was impressed when I first heard about that, then it dawned on me that it was a relay.
