Already got a stack of them too. You can never have too many heavy, expensive cameras when you can only really hold one to take a photo. But fuck it. As money's no object, I might buy a few more to bandy around.

Quite handy to have a few. Never know when you will need a cheatstone, or to bash a tentpeg in.

Here, let me google that for you.

(Sorry, couldn't resist the obvious opportunity to use lmgtfy ).

I'd be interested to hear what it's like Jim. The sensor size seems impressively big for such a cheapy.

Having had a quick play with this, I'm reall impressed at what you get for your money.
Its a great size and really easy to use. I haven't had time to look at any footage back on a big screen yet so can't comment on the quality.
Only 2 negative points that have struck me so far is that when taking still images it takes ages to take the picture and the battery is tiny (it does need to be tho) although I can't comment on how long it will last because I haven't had it long enough although I suspect an 8gig card which I think can take about 2 hours of footage will be full before the battery runs out. I will probably buy a second battery at some point.
First impressions are very good

I'm not fussed about the stills either. If it shoots 'decent' HD video for hundred quid then I'm interested. Jim?

make sure you click to go to vimeo site to watch it in HD, having just watched them both, the sd version displayed above is much poorer than the original on vimeo

Nice on Jim.
Looks good although the colours look a little washed out (particularly the reds?) and foley looks like he hasn't been out of the cave for years (whiter that white?).

I suspect that is 99% due to the lighting. I'm impressed.
