Jesus have you even read it? This is an attempt to create a sustainable MTB trail. The only 'damage' that has already occured is the Public Rights of Way office tarmacing over bridleways rather than taking a sensible approach to maintaining and allowing sustainable continuation of a sport. (I used to enjoy running out on the trails to the Peak from Sheffield. Now I've got to wear road-shoes). I would have thought that this thread is a perfect model for the 'we're not doing anything wrong, it's legal init' attitude of 4x4 users.


edit, actually I've just remembered, running out to the peak was always shit and that bit always smelled funny. Now it's even more dull but that's not really the point.

If you actually knew the people on this thread - they are talking about sustaining the trail. Not destroying it.

Knowing FD the bit about concrete is tongue in cheek as he is pissed off at how the peak is getting tarmaced to suit the fat arsed community around Sheffield.
