Knee leash - worn whilst longboarding so you can cross step and nose ride without tripping over a leash.

FWIW, I don't wear a leash with my longboard at all - it makes you pick waves and surf much more carefully and not bail your board = less of a hazard in the water and more waves for other people.

My navel bar (I've the top and bottom of my navel pierced and one bar through both) tends to get caught from the bottom on my climbing harness because thats roughly where it sits. There's not much on a surf board to catch things on I'd have thought, so I'd imagine she'd be ok, but then I've only ever surfed twice and both times worn wet-suits.

ooouch noooo, until i got my last suit i always used to come out ofthe water with either red or bleeding belly button, from piroetting on it it for a few hours. Mind you i did hav speedos on. But any metal wear inside a suit is asking for pain.
