The "Bah Humbug" thread.

Just thought I'd share some of the seasonal love, with those pictures that capture the spirit of the moment.

Xmas shopping with 4 over-excited kids and an Xmas obsessed 33 year old.

The children's enduring delight at the wonder of it all.

The German Xmas market (Bristol), when you're not allowed a Stein or Bratwurst, but you are allowed to spend hours looking a scarves/ornaments/crap/things granny might like.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year the lot of you.

Enjoy all the socks.

It's pissing down in Glasgow for the 48th day in a row, I've forgotten what rock looks like (I assume all the clips on EpicTV are CGI), I couldn't be less excited for Xmas if I tried, I've put on 4kg in the last month so can't even enjoy the food. FUCK CHRISTMAS. I'm going to listen to gabber incessantly and look daggers at everyone  >:( >:( >:(

I've got family over this weekend and we're doing the full English Christmas dinner. We went for a walk, it's so warm we had beers outside on a terrasse. I mixed 6 different types of alcohol yesterday and don't even have a hangover.

Even better that means next weekend I can go climbing instead of spending days stuck on a sofa, comatose.

I love Christmas.

Only concession to Christmas here has been this slightly sinister (and fast-melting) snow-person. Thankfully now buggering off to Costa Rica ...

Your snow person is buggering off to Costa Rica?

I've got 5 days of work to fit into 2 days, and I can't be fucked starting with it. I wish companies in the Middle East took as much time off over Xmas as they do over Ramadan.

11pm Xmas eve.

Present wrapping.

Four kids, 10 and under.

Well over a hundred bloody presents to wrap.

This Santa lark is a friggin ball breaker, why can't the bastard do his own wrapping?
Where are the friggin Elves?

I've got a damn blister on my lip from tearing off bits of tape and,

and, paper cuts?

Don't friggin talk to me about paper cuts.
