I've got it on tape, recorded from when it was played by legendary trance DJ errr John Peel RIP. I reckon it's from about 95/96 give or take a year.

It's pretty epic hard trance, with a deep, bassy, "bouncing" beat, and a load of melodies and shit on top - got some sweeping cosmic synths going on, some spacey bleeping, a really good acid riff, and some simplistic plink-plonking too. The defining feature is a woman's voice that simply says "Paradise" when the intro / breakdown kicks into the track proper.

Basically it's the best thing in the history of trance music and if anyone can get me a link to it on Youtube / MP3 / CD compilation the muchos gracias...

I'm afraid to say it sounds familiar and like something I used to have on 12" before I sold my decks and records.  I'll rack my brains...

Not thinking of Accident in Paradise by Uncle Sven are you? Or a remix thereof?

I love you uncle Sven.

Nope, it's faster, with a lot bouncier beat than that, and the sounds on top are more lush and melodic / soaring...

Right, I've been racking my brains.  The one I'm thinking of is Ralph Fridge - Paradise and you'll find it on the Gatecrasher Red album from 1998.  Very melodic, womens voice wispering 'back in paradise' at the breakdown.  Classic.  I spent many a night in Gatecrasher messed up to that one and others of its ilk, like Verracocha - Carte Blanche, or Universal Nation - Push.  Those were the days...(eyes well up slightly at the passing of days that can never be relived...)

Guys, should you really be admitting to liking Trance on a public forum?

Thanks for the suggestion, but...

Nope, it's faster, with a lot bouncier (and bassier) beat than that, and the sounds on top are (a bit) more lush and melodic / soaring...

And the vocal only says "Paradise", nothing else.

I'll see if I can do the tape-MP3 shizzle at some point.

And yeah I like trance, good trance anyway. Reactivate, Lab4, LSG, few other things :)

I LOVE classic trance ie 90's trance. A lot of my mates are into what I call "new" trance.

I'm not quite as keen, it doesnt evoke the memories and therefore I dont like it really. I could rapidly see this thread turning into a trancey walk down memory lane!

Push - Strange World (2000 Remake) - HD

This was the nearest I could think of for your mystery tune Fiend, dont think Im right though:
