I used to use Giganews as my provider and newzbin as the search site. It was good, but I got sick of paying for the privilege, and there are so many really good podcasts that I dont get through now I just havent bothered to download owt illegal for ages.

As Dobbin says Giganews/Newzbin (V2/V3) are quite good, although some people have some issues between the 2 versions. I still have the same argument with my mate every time I see him - why are you paying to download stuff that can be got for free via torrent sites? His only valid answer is download speed..

Why do you use usenet sites? What stuff are you downloading?

I used to use a combination of Newsleecher and Newzbin and Astraweb but I think these days with the number of private trackers bit torrent is the better option.

It was nice being able to max out your connection though.
