Dumby Saturday morning
December 11, 2009, 03:23:14 pm
Fired up by www.dumby.info I'm visiting Dumby for the first time tomorrow morning. My girlfriend is with me but can't climb as she had the screws taken out of her ankle earlier this week (from a fall in Font 2 yrs ago). We're having a a Glasgow city break type weekend...

Any beta from locals most welcome if anyone is there (sounds like it might be a bit misty tomorrow morning).

If you value your balls I wouldn't take you currently non-climbing girlfriend to sit about Dumby for the morning in the freezing cold, she really won't thank you.   :spank:

Well I'm taking her here http://www.stravaigin.com/ in the evening, so I hope she can put up with the view for an hour or two  :-\

Try and befriend a tame local you will probably find scrabbling around in the mud under the Pongo boulder. They are often quite placid first thing in the morning, just avoid eye contact and make appropriate noises when they pull on.

In that case, you might get away with it, just.

Way too advanced. Try appreciative grunts or low whistles. These are simple creatures.
