U2 will fly to the UK to play the Somerset festival in the middle of their North American tour.

Nice environmental festival then.

A second 747 has already been ordered for Bono's hat.

A second 747 has already been ordered for Bono's hat.

And another for his gigantic, swollen, self-important head.

I think that was the implication regarding the hat.

I was referring to this actually. But both make sense!

That's the incident I thought you were referring to, Jas.

A legendary tale. I like the idea of U2 travelling on three planes. One for Bono's hat, one for Bono's head and another for the rest of the band.

The planes could be called U2one, U2two and U2three

Quote from: the flight controller voice in my head
You are cleared for landing on runway one U2one.
U2two, you are too close to U2one, please proceed to runway three.
U2three, you are cleared for runway two.

U2one and U2three, you two can land on runways one and two as instructed; you too U2three, you too are too close, head to runway two too

BOOM! no more big fat Bono Head  Cold play get to be top of the bill at Glastonbury and we get loads of jokes about Bono letting Jesus wear his sunglasses

edit

I don't really want anyone to get hurt and I don't want anyone to have to listen to coldplay
