Does anybody here ride with any of the Sheffield Road clubs? I really need some motivation to keep riding over the winter, and joining a club could be a good way to do this.

I’ve heard bad things about Rutland, and Sheffrec meet way over the other side of town to where I live so neither seem like the answer really.

Or does anybody want to start an Ecclesall Rd based Sunday morning ride type thing over the winter?

Steve next door to me is with the Norton Wheelies/ers, they meet on AbbeyDale Rd South usually I think.  Think you/Kim might know/know of a few other members too.

There's also the tri clubs. Racing TNT & Sheffield Tri both have regular rides. I've only been out with Racing TNT but they seem to be smaller and a bit more relaxed than cycle clubs on start times, not dropping people, etc.
