[Somebody's Fool]

A few times recently there have been mass spam emails sent from my Hotmail account.

They send to everyone in my address book. So someone might receive a painstakingly worded CV and covering letter from me one day, and then an advert for cheap Jimmy Choos the next. As you can imagine, it's a tad annoying.

Who's doing this? What's the best thing to do? New email account?

It's happened to a few folk, unless rodma has started selling Electronics! VERY CHEAP!

you might want to virus/trojan scan your machine too.

Make sure you're not a victim of the current phishing scam that is affecting hotmail/gmail/yahoo!mail etc. etc.

Gmail kicks the arse out of hotmail anyway

big news the other day that loads of hotmail accounts have had there passwords hacked and posted on t'interweb.
Change all your passwords and security questions and virus scan your computer
