Anyone know where you can get this vid? Mr Honeyman said he'd send us a review copy but not heard any more....Dave, you might have it judging by a recent post of yours over on CT??

Basically as for as i know he only made that "consumed" vid for his mates, I've only seen it cos I've borrowed it from a mate whos borrowed it from a mate whos borrowed it from a mate style thing. At one time Nik Jennings said he would ask Dan if i could have a copy, or at least a copy of the "some climbers" vid but nothing ever came of it sadly. I think there was some talk of him bringing out a DVD.....but to be honest i don't know, as I've never even met Dan, or Nik, although some of the lads on the "consumed" vid are often down the edge woody of an evening.

That'll be why no review one then! I might drop him an email to see if he can run one off.
I bought one of the original copies of some climbers off him - it's got some amazing footage on it. Heartbeat City, 10,000 Maniacs and Weather Report (aaah!) stand out as full on sweaty-palm moments. I like his non-commercial attitude to the thing, and as well, you can hardly blame him given the stick that the hard headpointers get from some quarters.

That Weather Report fall is mental. Also on Consumed the fall off KOHD is ridiculous.

I like the "why am I doing this?!" style introspection that topping out on Hearbeat City / 10,000 was bringing out. The ethics police should be forced to watch these before slagging off the style that some of these things get done in.

Good vid I thought with a nice soundtrack too. Bit under-edited in places, but as a non-pro effort, very impressive.

Dave
I passed your message on to Dan via e-mail, didn't realise nothing had happened. If you still want a copy of some climbers I can probably get you one, send me an e-mail with your address to nik@blue-jelly.co.uk and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers
Nik

Contact Dan for a copy of consumed - whether or not he'll let you have one is a different matter.

Yeah, I will do - he said we could have one a while back when I sent him copies of the pics of Si Moore on "Marrowbone Jelly" that are on here, but I think he's forgotten.
