nice one mate...

i expect ukb updates when you are resting / eating..

unfortunately I will not be joining you.. as I'm in a * push a big bike uphill & descend in a manner of vague control while jumping off shit* phase bikewise at the mo - with all the injuries and costs that seems to be party to that activity.

And we have a competition between Fatdoc and Jordy to who can be the most injured from cycling
Fatdoc: vertebrae+ribs+finger+armpit= 4
Jordy:   thigh stab+destroyed knee+ribs+snapped finger(thats all I know at the mo!)=4
now we could scale on the degrees of closest to death etc but I think we will just pause and marvel at the hospital time these two have had.
Get well soon Si, looks like you aint coming to font in October

Hang on, what about the time I put a chainset into the back of my hand needing 6 stitches... whilst changing to my first  SPD pedals.. which I then crashed in... and dislocated the above finger... so i then couldnt climb for a season??

There must be some kind of hoodoo jinx thing going on for those who plan biking related adventures.

I broke my collarbone the day before doing the Lord of the Loops ride around the peak (from the VG Dark peak Guide) and only 4 days before heading to do Passportes in Morzine and now Jordysi has come a cropper just before hist C2C.  Nasty stuff.  Hope you get better soon.

Secret to success must be to not plan and just go.

given he was going to do the c to c and back in 24 hours did he throw himself off his bike as the less painful option.
