Not sure if this has been posted before - interesting new product from 5 ten - rubber in a tin for coating the top of shoes, mainly for cracks I would have though but also helpful for hooking and scumming...
Stealth paint -wonder if it would work for small splits in toe box etc???

heard about this a while ago, was going to look into sourcing the stuff inividually at maybe a greatly reduced cost when I have some time but that seems to be the biggest problem I have

Interesting, especially as i recently got a fresh pair of boots which fell apart on the second wearing.  I did a toe hook and the entire upper rubber toebox folded over- basically became detached.  Fucking shit glue they use, so maybe this is their answer- DIY repair.

Its genius stuff!!! Its the same stuff thats on the toe box of the Jet 7's, toe hooking is so much better even round the edge of a smooth wall. If i change from my Jet 7's anytime soon (which I don't plan on doing) then I'll be purchasing some to smother my shoes in!!
