Top European climbing destinations
May 21, 2009, 12:30:18 pm
So imagine you're having 6 months off, and you're driving a van around some of Europe's top climbing destinations. Where would be on your list?

Rules: Bouldering destinations are more important, than routes, but World-Class venues like Ceuse will be on the list. So, the list so far runs thus:

Fontainebleau
Mello
Magic Wood
Cresciano
Ticino
Ceuse
Albarracin

So where would you add?

I'd add a cheeky couple of days at Sustenpass on your way through Swizzy (assuming you're there in the summer)

If by Ticino you mean Chironico, then Chironico.

Surely some of the Spanish crags in Catalunya would also have to be on your list, Rodellar, Siurana, Margalef and so on

  • CLIMB GREECE
It depends on the season. From September to March you should consider Tinos island Greece in your bouldering places list 8)

1) Go to Fontainebleau
2) Sell van, buy air ticket, go to Hueco / Bishop.

Albarracin

(this is pretty much what I was looking for on my trip thread although for me routes aren't lower down the priority list!)
