I asked Neil Pearsons about the Ben Moon on Agincourt photo. He said that the original slide of this image is no more, having been eaten by Ben's dog.

There was an article about it in an old Climber mag. At least there was no toprope round the arete, so not proper posed.

Doug Scott on the Summit of Everest. First British men to summit (unless you believe Mallory made it), plus possibly the latest anyone has ever summited (it's about 6pm!). Shortly followed by the World's highest bivi (without bivi bags, or sleeping bags, or a stove, or in fact, anything!)

There was an article about it in an old Climber mag. At least there was no toprope round the arete, so not proper posed.

there was no posing what so ever.how do i know,well i'm holding one of the ropes.however he'd been up there before,i think he'd followed john allen on the first ascent.so he knew the moves.
