Was thinking back today to the last Welsh bouldering meet and realised it's been two years since it happened. Is anyone making noises about one for this year (CJD, Si etc?). Last one was well Jackson.

I'd be keen, it was a good laugh last time round. A whole weekend of rain spent bearing down in the mill and developing mild chest infections and swollen joints sounds right up your street Tom

If it's somewhere with slopers, count me in.

I am going to turn up and spy on you all from a distance, ideally taking topless shots.  8)  This will provide me with new material and hide the fact I climb like a very weak girl.

Call me dumb, but what exactly have you linked to?  Doesn't work for me.

And why does Magpie like taking pictures whilst topless?   :-\

If you want me to - Dumb, it's an old set of postings regarding the proposed "northumberland meet" a few years back.

Yeah, but GCW is probably getting the same message I am...

I've got that once or twice recently. Link works for me? Anyhoo, if you go to the front page of the board, it's in the archived topics section at the bottom.

I'm sick of hommey 'tops off for power' shit with the men. Magpie, can you start a trend for women to get involved. It's not very democratic at the moment is it?

I think the dirty Cattell's and dirty Doylo have been pioneering this look for too long now.

Wasn't there some tedious article written about how girls/women should be able to climb topless without being "sexualised" or something?

Ah yes, here it is, with commentary on ukc

Quite how she got the idea that "how come in quaint old Blighty lads are allowed to climb topless and women aren’t, huh?" I've no idea as its the complete polar opposite of the views expressed within this thread.

It's difficult enough to climb some routes with them reined in, lord only knows how many grades it would add to have it all hanging out.  The chaffing aspect would also put me off, it's bad enough I spend half my life with skint knees.

Give it a few years and you can use them as knee pads.
