Weird, I was looking at those games last night.

How did you come across Neave's site?

I know him of sorts through a web development forum I use quite a bit.

What kid wants to remeber eff-all? Toys should be cool, like the Millenium Falcon and Optimus Prime- not a load of wack flashing lights. For some reason I've got a 'Travel Mastermind' set at home, what a rubbish game, jeez.

Bigtrak was OK but I bet it got boring after ten minutes.

Imagine him getting buck-wild with that eagle chick- what was her name? She turned from fox to orange and blue bird and gave them sage advice.. maybe he'd have to get Man-At-Arms to hold her down

I always liked the toy Battle Cat aswell- but I thought they should have made it change into Cringer in some way. Mind, I was never allowed any toys like that....

yeah i had tha battlecat. i think you had to buy cringer seperate and then do "the ol' texas switch" midway through a scene. didn't skeletor have a purple pseudo-battlecat anall? i never had one.

think i also had this little lady:

yeah i'm thinking exactly the same thing...

Seeing that picture brings some memories back.  I think skeletor had a purple cat not sure of the name though.
What ever happened to cartoons like he-man, thundercats, action force, dungon and dragons....etc these days the kids are more into music programs that are on and crap like home and away :(

transformers were proper bo. i never had much, but a mate of mine had the whole nine yards (optimus prime was just the tip of the iceberg) and he also had virtually everything of the Mask stuff.

does anyone remember Centurions? like these different coloured blokes with all kind of rockets packs, weapons etc that attached directly into th-er suit like massice cyborg tings? i had the blue one, he was the illest.

Now Mask WAS proper bo- I was mad for that and Pole Position on a Saturday morning. I had a couple of the Mask cars with their drivers and that.
When i went for a Transformer they didn't have an Optimus prime- I got a Megatron, the only problem with it was you couldn't really play with it and the other Transformers- cos it was a pistol that turned into a man / robot. Not much cop in car chases, and it was also the same size as a Peterbilt truck if you looked at them scale-wise. Still, it had a silencer and a stock that took off, and I was a wannabe assasin as a kid o it was perfect for my twisted fantasies.....

fukkin hell - Pole Position i still regard as the best action cartoon ever made that they only screened for like 1 series then never saw it again. i was gutted. just goes to show how rare it was when i found me and mates reminising about it at junior school.

theme tune here
