I had forgotten how incredible The Darkness was.

Power chords, tight cat suits, high pitch vocals, hugely camp low budget videos and a hefty dose of humour. Amazing!

Went to see them twice and they didn't disappoint. Awesome entertainment.

The thing is that spinal tap did this shit and they they were really taking the piss; and they are still going (Playing Glastonbury this year- how very?); and one of them married the ultimate sex goddess of her day (Jamie Leigh-Curtis); and he's a fucking baron; and the base player is also the voice of Mr Burns in the Simpsons. If I remember rightly these guys are from Lowestoft- end of.

Sorry Blue But the ambiguity is resolved in the opposite direction - Sinal Tap are septics and Justin and the boys are from Lowestoft. But you knew that, deep down, didn't you?

I suspected that defending Lowestoft was the furthest thing from your mind but the question had to be asked.

With regard to starting an "In defence of Lowestoft thread" - I am almost tempoted to do such a thing and probably would if I could think of anything meaningful that could be constituted as defence of its existence. You could always hijack this thread I suppose...
