Anyone head to plantation and (in particular) have a look at zippys? Asking for a friend etc... 😃👍

Funny you should ask. Had a wander up, most stuff had snow on or suffering from run off. The bit around crescent arete was dry. Zippy's still had a snow blanket on the slab side unfortunately, might be brushable.

There was a small team making the most of your brushing efforts from the other day on Captain Hook.

Road between popular and plantation still icy.

:D as the starting flake and pocket were coated with ice I suspect it’s no better. May head to Bbg south.

:) cheers for the heads up - hope you had a good day 👍

Do we know if lots of places still have run off or was it fine in the end yesterday? What about monochrome?

Didn't get as far down as the trees so not sure about Monochrome, but there was run off all over All Quiet and the Terrace was starting to drip on the right (not quite onto the holds though). Banana Finger, Remergence and Voyager were all clear

There was snow on top of monochrome but it wasn't too drippy at about 2pm today. It started drizzling on the walk out though, so could be on the way out unless there's some wind to dry it up.

Boyager was dry. Nicotine stain was in good condition, as was velvet crab (and Zaff I think).

Hoping to head out about 4pm today but evidently wet this morning.  Any updates on potential dryness appreciated...

Up at Curbar right now. Pit OK. Trackside boulder a bit damp in places but ok.

It’s a long way from mint but it’s alright. Suspect bbg n and usual fast drying spots will be fine by 4.

Roads still damp in S10 and very little air movement. I can see the top of Ringinglow Rd from the window and it doesn't look that clear, but probably better higher up if there's a breeze.

I was out on Burbage Moor yesterday evening at 7pm and it was very misty and quite warm. I wouldn’t bother heading out too early this morning.

Thanks. Looks damp over yonder from Netheredge at least.  Cellar sessions beckons.

Shining Cliff is in great nick today. Suspect other stuff around the more southern outcrops would be OK too.

All dry at Apparent North thanks to all the wind, not exactly bon-con though. Burbage North looked fine too.

Get on a good radar site like raintoday.co.uk zoom in and choose carefully. Doubt Duke's will be a good plan but you might get lucky.

Cratcliffe/ RHS was great yesterday, dry and deserted. Only copped a couple of light showers, dried instantly.

Do something steep. That way you can turn the easy finish at the top into the desperate crux of the route as you mantel it out in the rain, like I did last week :)
