It rained this arvo. Tried to climb in a couple of places - Curbar / Baslow and then Moorside / Gardoms. Drizzle at the first and showers at the second. Went to Rubicon on the way home out of desperation and stayed 20 mins. The glassy footholds are bullshit...

Most stuff wet today, Froggatt pinnacle dry as ever. Looks better tomorrow. How's Yorkshire fairing?

Looks pretty showery for the Eastern edges again? Anston might be a good bet if you're coming down this way. Though looks better in Yorkshire?

Almscliff predictably dry but absolutely freezing. Caley damp up top but drying. Tender Homecoming got done and I'd imagine the rest of Brimham would have been decent too.
We'll stay up here if things look damp down there for sure. Fuck Anston during brown season!

Cheers. Funny weather at the moment. I keep walking to work in the morning under blue skies thinking it'll be great in the evening and then it comes over a bit grey and cloudy after lunch.

Very cold for the last couple of hours of daylight at Baslow today.
Started to get drizzly as well.
Will be great for the rest of the week I would have thought

I was out this afternoon Mike, very little snow around, just a bit on paths and sheltered nooks and crannies. The top of a few problems were a bit damp, but mostly fine

Good morning! Was hoping to get out today in the peak as weather looked just fine however waking this morning I find a very damp Newcastle under lyme and I'm worried how far east this damp patch might stretch. Peak webcams don't look promising...anyone over in the east got any info ? Was hoping to go Baslow, cheers!
