Has it rained over there over night? Is it clearing up?

Its totally dry here in Nether Green but it doesn't look 100% promising up the hill.
See here:
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html
The light blue will be drizzle/clag on the tops.

not been out but there is this webcam

http://www.peakdistrictonline.co.uk/content.php?categoryId=2491

don't know about the top one but the lower one is near Grindleford and it's often possible to tell if that wall looks wet. a good indication of whether rock is wet me thinks. Looks wet at the moment...

Cheers, not seen that cam before. Have added it to the webcam thread - http://ukbouldering.com/board/index.php/topic,12946.0.html

Dammit, thought it was going to be crisp and dry today.

Dammit, thought it was going to be crisp and dry today.

West Side Story in great nick, everything else fucked as far as the eye can see. All the Burbage/ Stanage roads require skills in snow driving...

Brad Pit's fine to the jug. Help the Young is OK. The Joker was being tried today, not sure if it's still OK. Chequer's Groove/Slingshot/Soul Power/Our Souls are all fine. Plenty to go at it seems, as long as you've got Jim's attitude to warming up.

Driving to Plantation is OK if you head out of Hathersage on the North Lees road and then loop round via High Neb. Never too steep.

Had a walk round Burbage S this aft. As you'd expect everything was covered in snow and/or water. However I was amazed to find one fully dry problem - Leotard Legend. Some amazing icicles on the French Kiss wall!

Not sure about A.I. because i never went that far along to edge. Zorev looked climbable and in good nick and so that new prob under captain invincible.

Just for info, we have a loads of fresh snow in the High Peak/Chapel/Buxton area this morning so the roads heading into the Peak from Manchester will be pretty bad.

Knocked I on the head as there was fresh snow overnight and it's still coming down - near mansfield - hopefully tomorrow will be a goer - still a long board session today.
Thanks for the updates.
