Heavy wet snow last night, Snake was shut this AM, I wouldn't be hopeful.

How’s it looking up there at the moment? Been in Brum
All week and most of the snow has gone but it’s still been cold at night...

What would be folks suggestions for places to go? Art of white hat wearing likely to be in/out? Rowtor maybe?

Not sure on the Peak snow situation but I heard the Snake was closed last night, so presumably not great. Hopefully someone can update us from today? I'd doubt White Hats will be dry, it takes run off from the top. I saw a mate did a few bits at Robin Hoods Stride yesterday and it didn't look too snowy from the photos. I've just driven past Wharncliffe which is snow free.

Wednesday night's giant wet snow dump was only on high ground so I think the southern Peak crags will have survived it.

Pinned to the tip of the 'Conditions reports' forum is a snow-free problems thread. Froggatt pinnacle has an almost perfect record.

Not much snow left. Froggatt dry so I guess curbar and southwards all ok except anything prone to runoff etc. Bit snowier at burbage stanage and some ice on roads

Anyone in the peak know what the wind's up to? Wondering if anything has dried off after yesterdays rain

I was out on Monday in the glorious sunshine, but with no wind it didn't feel great. High humidity, mild and cloudy for the next week, it's not looking great

Stuff on the edge at curbar was dry this afternoon but felt humid and warm, not great connies. Trackside was dry but all the other problems on that boulder looked damp, though some people climbing them. GW fuckd. The phantom chalk ball dabber has been at Bad Lip (it was bad) but to no avail, still sodden.

Hoping to get out on grit tomorrow, is anywhere likely to be ok? I want to go to Burbage South, is that a reasonable bet for conditions?

Thanks :)

Burbage south wouldnt be my first choice, its been pretty muggy in sheffield today and there's a chance of rain overnight. If you can find anywhere that's getting a breath of wind you might be in luck, or bits and pieces on froggatt/curbar might be in.

Drop us a line if you fancy a brew after your session :) Would be good to catch up.

Any reports from today? I know the underlying basics are crap (lots of moisture and warm tenps) but I’ve been gifted a partial day pass out and it would be a shame to fritter it away at the wall....

I had a walk up lose hill this afternoon: dense fog, warm temps and steady rain. A seemed like a similar story going past stanage and burbage too. Maybe further south will be good. I was thinking of trying anston tomorrow.
