My girlfriend had not seen any Brass Eye until I got her the series and special for her birthday.  My God it was a cool couple of nights rewatching that lot.  Too many classic lines and cringe moments to list so I'll stick with "cake is a made up drug".

Just read the Indy article. Its a brave thing to try.. sounds like it'll be very interesting. But how will it go down, esp with extremists themselves? Remember Salman Rushdie? Sounds like it'll all be a skit rather than fake interviews - which is a shame - though I guess it would be hard to go and ask some questions with a film crew in a Pakistan training camp etc.. Not quite the same as going to some dealer on a street corner and asking them if they've got any cake (one of my fave moments..).

Sound similar to the proposed Nathan Barley 2nd series where he was the head media honcho fro a terrorist cell, or maybe that was a rumour. My mate was in a board meeting with Morris, about some show or other and he sat and ate clove after clove of garlic, breathing into the execs face, and the media whore was that desperate to work with him he didn't bat an eyelid. Awesome.

Yes the series got canned as BBC and 4 bottled it, hence the film.
