How much you willing to spend? ......France may be better?
Personally I’m not too keen on the Oranges – they are bloody noisy (due to the box swingarm – some people fill it with expanding foam). But if it fits you and you like the way it rides then go for it...
But what nortons missus has.To for it!!!
You've fucking lost me here, FD! WTF are you typing with?

but you get what i mean .. go for the spesh..
wheels - worth it
lilac paint and flower graphics - nice to have
I am not too fussed about pant colour as long as it isn't poo brown
And then drool over the Diva or Juliana for the rest of your life .
Obviously the colour is the most important thing - sod everything else.
Is it alright to piggy back this thread with my own new MTB request?I've got £650 to spend on this site: http://tinyurl.com/prguoe but will go to £700.I'm after a hardtail for general XC in the peak and for farting around on.I'm drawn to the £629: GT Avalanche 1.0 Disc 2009http://www.wheelies.co.uk/products-Avalanche-1.0-Disc-2009_21043.htmpartly as it looks fly and partly as it seems to have decent bits and bobs as well as a decent frame.I know chuff all about bikes so any advice will be greatly received.
In the inexplicable absence of the inimitable Fatdoc, may I suggest that you also look at the Genesis. Both it and the GT would be great bikes though.
The 3 main differences are that the the Genesis is steel, the GT is Alu, the Genesis has full Deore kit the GT uses some Tektro parts and the Genesis has Rockshox forks whereas the GT has Suntour.Personally I’d get the Genesis and I’d say it was easily worth £70 more – but it is a pretty personal thing, especially the whole steel vs aluminium thing. You really need to ride both and see what you prefer and what fits.Genesis is a newish British based company. More details http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/ and some reviews too.
I've got a genesis flyer singlespeed and I really like it. bit pricey though, but i wasn't too bothered as it was an insurance replacement.
