Brownstones groundwork
June 19, 2009, 09:31:59 am
I went to Brownstones for an early morning session today and saw that there has been some groundwork to the pond area - most of the jagged stones on the initial wall of the Pond traverse have been removed / levelled off.

Only noticed it now the pond has receded so could have been done a while ago...it certainly makes the pond traverse a better prospect in winter - now the only question is 'will I get wet', not 'will I snap my ankles'

Anyone know whodunnit? Good work whoever it was!

No idea.  Some blocks are quite big, and would take some moving.

You taking advantage of conditions to get Boopers ticked?

That's the idea... I normally only have about 45 mins of a morning so I've been traversing to improve stamina, tried Boopers the other day and could only get to the break, it's a killer on the fingers! I was tired though.

yeah it looks like the blocks have been dug out and rolled nearer the water - hopefully the replacement mud won't erode when the rains come - nice and flat though now
