have reset all internet connections and reset the router.
all other web sites work fine only ukbouldering affected.
can get on fine on my phone so site is ok?
maybe my ip is blocked?

The web-site went down for an hour or so between 11.00-12.30ish, perhaps refresh your DNS.

Very much doubt your IP would be blocked (and it would be the company hosting the site who'd block it) unless the server that is hosting the site gets repeat requests from your IP address, and browsing the site is insufficient to do that, it would have to be something like an infection on your computer that is automatically doing the requests (and I get the impression you're pretty on top of your security).

Have you emptied yer browser cache?

Tried from a different browser?

Tried pinging ukb?

tried in ie and ff and both don't work.
cleared all cache on everything I could find.
laptop is the same, both run off same router.
just running anti virus and malware shit.

Possibly, query your ISP as to whether they are filtering anything.

It's nothing I've done at this end - my hosts might have done something automatically if you were trying to download the entire forums

well I've not tried to download the forum (no need with unlimited free mobile internet access)
currently browsing through anonymouse.org, seems to be the best free anon proxy I've used so far
I'll email O2 to see if they are filtering anything
