Spotted three song thrush fledglings today (two separate places) in Sheffield. Is that normal seems a bit early for chicks to be fledging?
The cold may also make them exhibit unusually tame and seemingly naive behaviour.
I'm sure it wasn't a seagull
been treated to some brilliant, regular views of a male hen harrier hunting over the fields in the triangle between Milly, Malsherbes and Champmotteux fairly sure I saw a female hen harrier between Milly and Cely (I was driving, but flight and wing movements said "harrier" and colour was not a male or a marsh)
