If you get a chalet, can I park on your driveway  :goodidea:

Question, on the booking confirmation does it give the starting point. I am sure I booked Les Gets but the confirmation has an address in Chatal on it. I am hoping this is just the admin address and not a major SNAFU on my part.

thats OK Ian, it always says that

Could he not do what I suggested?

By the time you lot are ready to roll after the drive there should be some riders from the other start points at Les Gets so it shouldn't be too obvious. There will only be the riders from Morzine and Les Gets after avoriaz on the way back so the lift guys might not be too bothered about an extra rider and I can try and talk em round if they get arsey.

Neil, are you doing the passports on the giant?

I'm blagging my sons trance x nine speed with u turn domains for it, my supreme mini DH would be a bit of a beast on the ups.

Looked at the map this morning and there are sections of XC which miss out some of the lifts. I reckon the 1000m of climbing will include them.

So you could have been right with the 300 or so meters assuming all lifts are used. Take the big bikes, it will either be fine or a laugh watching you cough your lungs out  :tease:

yes I recon so, but will take both anyway, I tried a section on specialized last year, its such hard work, I recon just a new set of front forks for the giant and were good :)

Did it on very heavy stinky (heavier than your current bike) and with a lower skills set 5 or so years ago! Just walk the ups (on some you will be as fast as  walking) I'm walking and my turner weighs 35lbs but then I'm a lazy git!

It's not really what you'd call a big bike though, is it?  I reckon it'll be perfect.

Nice bike Ian. Reckon I'll be ok if Luce says so, not sure about 'lower skills set' though!
Fucking psyched is what I am though,,,,

I did it with Luce, more uphill and fully padded as I had broke my back 12 weeks prior..

Jim, yr reign will be bang on.

Just get pedal / run fit and no worries.

You don't even have to jump at all mate.
