Would be great to get some other stuff in the diary - say Cwmcarn...? Snowdon...?

snowdon will be one weekend 6 weeks either side of the summer solstice... just grabbing a weather window and skipping off to beris for the sat night, 4:30 a.m. push up and off the hill by 9:30.

Best arranged *off spec* dependent on the weather, via here.

BTW, my Morzine trip will be the week of monday 4th of July

Hmmm, I would be out there already, as I'm riding up Alpe d'Huez on the 2nd July.

What's your plan for accomdation, riding, etc? Who's in so far?

Re Snowdon - I fancy a crack at Cofe's Ranger Track / Railway track adventure....

I'm keen for Snowdon too; still never done it. Going to try to get the DH bike rebuilt next weekend and start saving for a used Demo 8.

thats' you, fbsf & big G.

I'm sleeping with you... as it were.

flowmtb B&B and we take the van I reckon.. get 3 of us insured & we're sorted. will be a slower trip than last time.. due tot the french investing 5million euro on speed controls on the roads. plan atm is sunday morning drive / tunnel / drive to arrive in morzine sunday eve... ride mon to friday incl. & drive home sat...

is that OK with you all?

I bet the batteries last about 10 minutes.

Be fun to unleash at a trail centre just to watch the reaction of XCers but really it's missing the point of mountain biking.

Pushing up and earning those turns is part of a day out at Wharncliffe. But then again, I'm happy to use an uplift truck/chairlift so is this really any worse? ;)

Any one have any experience of the French bike parks further south from the PDS? I am thinking of a summer road trip that would take in Deux Alpes, Montgenevre and Pra Loup among others. Any info re the number of runs, decent camping etc would be appreciated.

Was actually intending to come out of semi retirement this autumn but dislocated my shoulder in September. Main sport for years has been biking,am a teacher now so get to ride the chairlifts for 5 weeks every summer. Will be in touch when I have a minute.
