last one, for all Morzine noobs.. this is the classic plenay run with the lift direct out of morzine.

basically it's a red graded track.. all the excess noise is the violence of the braking bumps.. DH bikes are mainly useful to help your arms survive day on day..the speed is what i would call fair to middling -  about my speed on a good day.

very last one...

I went down here guided back in the day.. our guide then said he'd never send guests down there again.. later that day someone shattered their femur on the bottom doubles. For those that know these slopes under snow I've been told this is  *the wall* in winter

I think there is enough variety for a great trip...

any takers after my obscene numbers of linked videos??

What about Aosta or Finale as alternatives?  Latter sounds ace from a AM rather than DH perspective?

What's changed? I couldn't tell from that, the camera angle just made my eyes go funny after a while.

Some footage from Llandegla black today with the new Go Pro toy. Was a bit icy and legs were pooped after 2 month lay off. Looking forward to getting some exciting footage soon!

looks like they've maintained that route well.

Did you find the new *free ride area* I believe it's very near the car parks... I'm considering a trip there soon.. but knowing the location of the new doubles will assist me in bike choice, ta.

There is a free ride area just as you start the loops. Not hidden or anything? That what you mean? JJ's jumps is closed at the moment too, guess for maintenance work.

www.moredirt.co.uk/gallery_photo.php?cat_id=13&id=52543www.coedllandegla.com/

video of sorts here... which is probably what why I'm considering a bigger than usual bike for a trail centre

another poor video here..

if that's the extent of it then... er.... it's not very long is it! That double could very helpful in my progression plans for the year...

Ahh... Never seen those parts. Though only been twice. They would be able to tell you in the shop though, pretty friendly and helpful.

Camera works well.

Bit jerky on some of the rough downhill sections. Also, doesn't show the contours of the ground very well. There are quite a few little jumps it just didn't pick up. Guess i will have to jump bigger!

Problem with all helmet cams in Mtb is the angle.  And the speed.

Go pro angle is very good, I presume that was in HD. I also like the mic on them.

My now ageing Vio with wide angle is much better than the previous lens, but if I were to be in the Market for a helm cam ATM o would get a go pro with a chest harness.

Yep, that was my thinking. Might get one and try it.

Mounting the camera on the downtube looking at the forks is a good angle, what about the camera looking at the rider behind?

Yeah, thought about that, mounted on seat post, looking back.

nice vid. i dragged my dh bike round there. we went to ride the new freeride area that had been publicised but it was closed. it all looked a bit hard work, the jumps were huge but didnt look like it was going to be fast enough, deffo sort travel would be best. id just go to cannock now tho, its much more fun.

from what I've gleaned from the odd vid on pinkbike there has been some new stuff at cannock over in the darkside area.. one track looks mint with a variety of box jumps in the lower section, do you have any beta?

There must be shitloads of other places that aren't full of posing Brits. Leogang? How much more expensive would 10 days in Canada be with a bit of local knowledge? I bet AndyR could point us in the direction of some cheap accomodation with his local knowledge...
Have only just seen this - yep, I'll break down the door to Thesiger's place and you can kip there for free  ;)
